Ball-by-Ball Commentary

Sahibzada Farhan collects the trophy and his team joins him on the stage. They weren't at their best today but overall a good series with the captain leading the way with the bat. On the bowling front, there's so much to be excited about. Razaullah and Randhawa made their T20I debuts, and were hugely impressive for different reasons. Razaullah with his pace and fire, and Randhawa for his movement and accuracy. For Sri Lanka it was another difficult series after a 0-3 hammering in England. Some consolation for them today to finish with a win. So that's all from this one. Next up is the ODI tri-series also involving England. Rare to have a tri-series at the top level these days. Should be interesting. Until then, it's goodbye!

Sahibzada Farhan | Player of the Series and Pakistan captain: The way we set a superb target in the first two matches, today also we had the same plan but it's cricket, anything can happen. Maaz was unlucky today, so the responsibility was on me so I wanted to bat long. Can't decide someone's performance based on one match. At one point we felt we'll only get 140. But the way Arafat batted helped us get 170. The effort is to stay consistent (with his own batting). When I perform well, I'm even more focussed to do well in the next match. It's cricket, you're not always in form. So I'm looking to make the most of it. Randhawa has impressed with the new ball (in the series). Naseem was brilliant, although he was rested today. Happy as a captain.

Kusal Mendis | Player of the Match and SL captain: Last two games we've had some positive things. Bowled in good areas and a couple of spinners bowled well. Udara batted well in first game. Today we bowled really well in middle period. Fielding side did little bit OK. Batted well. Kamindu batted really well after the powerplay. He played his normal game. I also played my normal game. Openers batted well in powerplay. Overall we did well in all three departments. Everything is good. We have to adapt to conditions (for ODIs). There's dew in the night sometimes, not everyday. Couple of players are changing for the one-day side. We have little bit strength in the one-day side in senior players also. We've done really well in England also. Everybody in good form and good areas.

21:40 Local Time, 16:40 GMT, 22:10 IST: The two Mendises came to the party to wrap it up for the visitors. They missed out in the first two matches but in conditions which got easier for batting, thanks to the dew, the two of them ensured that Sri Lanka chased down the target of 169 with ease. Much of the heavy lifting was done earlier with the ball led by Dasun Shanaka's 3/21. Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, playing his first match of the series, was impressive as well, giving away just 23 in his four overs, while Eshan Malinga made the early inroads. Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan made 76 but didn't have much support and that total wasn't going to be enough on this pitch, especially with dew coming in. Stay tuned, we'll have the presentations shortly.
